Mötley Crüe is an American heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1981. The group was founded by bassist Nikki Sixx, drummer Tommy Lee, lead guitarist Mick Mars and lead singer Vince Neil. Mötley Crüe has sold over 100 million albums worldwide. They have also achieved seven platinum or multi-platinum certifications, nine Top 10 albums on the Billboard 200 chart (including 1989’s Dr. Feelgood, which is Mötley Crüe’s only album to reach number one), twenty-two Top 40 mainstream rock hits, and six Top 20 pop singles.
Presented is an autographed guitar of Motley Crue. It is a black Schecter electric guitar – diamond series.
The Diamond Series was first introduced in 1998 and consists of all the non-custom, mass-produced Schecter models. The Diamond Series is further divided into groups of guitars, which share common design characteristics. Schecter has stated that it will not customize any Diamond Series guitar, thus any Diamond Series guitar is sold “as is”.
The body of the black guitar was signed in silver felt tip marker (“9 -10”) by four of the original band members of Motley Crue. It was autographed by Vince Neil, Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee and Mick Mars in silver felt tip pen (“9”).
This originates from a promotion director at KOMP Radio here in Las Vegas. The famous rock band signed the guitar back in at one of their events.
