The 1991 Seattle Mariners season was the 15th since the franchise’s creation. It was the first winning season in franchise history,as the Mariners finished fifth in the American League West with a record of 83–79 (.512). Home attendance at the Kingdome was the highest to date, exceeding 2.1 million.
Presented is a black Louisville Slugger bat – (Ken Griffey, Jr. model S216) autographed by members of the 1991 Seattle Mariners. A whopping (25+) team members autographed the bat in silver felt tip (“8-9”). Some of the signers on the barrel include: Ken Griffey, Jr.; Ken Griffey, Sr.; Edgar Martinez; Randy Johnson; Jay Buhner; Jim Lefebvre; Omar Vizquel; Pete O’Brien and others. The knob end has a display hook attached.
