Madlock is notable for being a four-time National League batting champion. His record of four batting titles as a third baseman would be eclipsed in 1988 by Wade Boggs.
Presented is an ONL (White) baseball autographed by Bill Madlock. He signed it on the sweet spot in blue ballpoint pen (“9”) with the inscription, “4x Batting Champ – ’75, ’76, ’81, ’83”. The ball itself shows toning from age.
