Amassed from a large collection of single-signed baseballs comes this treasure. The Baseball Hall of Fame is reserved for only the best of the best in the game and Don Sutton was no exception. Sutton, and his accompanying perm, lasted 23 big league seasons. Consistency would be the best term in describing the righty. Although he only won over 20 games once in his career, he did register double-digit victories 21 times and recorded a “W” in 324 contests, and the Hall of Fame came calling in 1998.
His legacy will be surly be remembered through pastime stories and mementos he inked for fans. Presented is a OML (Selig) baseball autographed by Sutton on the sweet spot in blue ballpoint pen (Graded by PSA/DNA “9-9-9”). He added, “HOF 98” as an inscription for added value.
